With a maximum of 6 students there is time to provide individual assistance whilst we have fun covering the intense programme. The course is specifically designed to give you professional tuition with practical experience in a very short time.

While we have plenty of group discussions and some demonstrations, much of your day is spent cooking on your own or with another student. Each evening two of you take responsibility for preparing the evening meal. This gives you practice in plating and presenting, serving, as well as getting very efficient at clearing up.

Prior to the last nine years running these courses, I was principal teacher at Cookery at the Grange. I have run ski chalets, my own catering business, and I appreciate from experience the difficulties with space on yachts.
